Keep it in front of you. Your goal for today. Your purpose for today. Your dream for today. Keep that in front of you. Move it forward bit by bit today. Continue to take action without gazing too far out on the horizon.

We can in fact take that leap of faith. We are surrounded by family and friends and fellows and folks that want us to succeed. They are willing our success into existence and with our persistence we can make it so. Each day is a chance to strive for better. Each day is a leap of faith. We can also jump, because it's fun. sing Van Halen, maybe let the Pointer Sisters guide your feet. No matter do not resist the urge to jump while you get jacked. Jumping Jacks to warm up and between sets to keep the heart hopping is wonderful way to widen your workouts.

Triple Threat

You want to row, curl and fly your way into the day? Why not. I am using a Nike Medium Resistance Band to create some muscle tension on my lats, biceps and rear delts. Keeping our hips low with our upper back and neck supported on the stability ball, feet hip-width apart we can pull our way into a hey! hey! hey! triple threat kind of day.

Maintaining proper form in foundational movements, but performing them from a different perspective has helped me push past or through the doldrums and plateaus of the traditional stand and deliver techniques.

Diagonal Disco

Because everything is coming at us from a different point of view at the moment, I could not resist the urge to get after some Squat Presses from a different...angle. As if there was not enough instability in our life, why not add a bit more with a stability ball. We anchor the resistance bands with a dumbbell, we anchor the dumbbell with our feet and we get after this diagonal disco to mix up a full body mambo with a different point of view.

Mixing metaphors and Motion to make it a beautiful day!

Resistance is Futile

Proving truer than ever before - resistance is futile. But it can also become fitness fun!

Let's get the band back together, being sure to keep our form, and pay close attention to our core as we create some positive tension on our muscles. One rep at a time or work for time in between each instructional segment which last about :20 seconds each. That means you can watch it and then pause it while you do the exercise for :30, :45 or :60 seconds or for 10, 15, 20 reps and then take a :20 rest to watch the next exercise.

Don't resist the urge to get in motion and make it a beautiful day!
