You want to row, curl and fly your way into the day? Why not. I am using a Nike Medium Resistance Band to create some muscle tension on my lats, biceps and rear delts. Keeping our hips low with our upper back and neck supported on the stability ball, feet hip-width apart we can pull our way into a hey! hey! hey! triple threat kind of day. Maintaining proper form in foundational movements, but performing them from a different perspective has helped me push past or through the doldrums and plateaus of the traditional stand and deliver techniques. Get in motion and make it a beautiful day. Get in motion and make it a beautiful day. Get in motion and make it a beautiful day. Because everything is coming at us from a different point of view at the moment, I could not resist the urge to get after some Squat Presses from a different...angle. As if there was not enough instability in our life, why not add a bit more with a stability ball. We anchor the resistance bands with a dumbbell, we anchor the dumbbell with our feet and we get after this diagonal disco to mix up a full body mambo with a different point of view. Mixing metaphors and Motion to make it a beautiful day! Proving truer than ever before - resistance is futile. But it can also become fitness fun! Let's get the band back together, being sure to keep our form, and pay close attention to our core as we create some positive tension on our muscles. One rep at a time or work for time in between each instructional segment which last about :20 seconds each. That means you can watch it and then pause it while you do the exercise for :30, :45 or :60 seconds or for 10, 15, 20 reps and then take a :20 rest to watch the next exercise. Don't resist the urge to get in motion and make it a beautiful day! You remember the hit TV show from the '80's - Bird Dog & Plank?!! Me neither, so let's get after our core while streaming your favorite '80's TV show. If you were born in the '90's or 'Aughts (?) you should enjoy the history lesson of an old time TV show and appreciate strengthening your core all the same. Get in motion and make it a beautiful day! Hey everybody! Are you gliding through your day, cruising through your week, strutting through the month and getting ready for 2Q excitement? I hope all is well. If you've been working on your pushups, here's an opportunity to slide in a little bit extra. Pick a side and grab a couple gliders, 1 for your hand and 1 for your foot on the same side of your body. Start in a plank position and with your stable arm, keeping the elbow tight to your body pull your weight toward the ground as your glider hand and foot extend out from your body. Keep that core tight and then push the ground away with the stable hand and pull your glider hand and foot back to the starting plank position. You control the weight up and down. Get in motion and make it a beautiful day. You can literally do this with your eyes closed, though it is not recommended. Thumbnail jokes are funny. For real though. We can get stabilized with a wall or if you have too much art hanging on your walls simply close a door and use it work our chest, hips and buns. Use what you got! Get in motion and make it a beautiful day. Hey everybody! Hope all is well. You can make your exercise equipment. This is not a tutorial as much as it is an impromptu instructional video about getting in motion with what you have available at home. Get in motion and make it a beautiful day! |
